It helps the heart to function properly. It is an anti-inflammatory agent (sinusitis, otitis, angina, pharyngitis, rhinitis, bronchitis, and cystitis) and an anti-infection agent (infectious skin diseases). It is also a brain stimulant and excess copper may sometimes be the cause of hyperactivity in children.
