History:
Dunaliella salina is a microalga whose natural richness in beta-carotene is remarkable. This powerful antioxidant carotenoid neutralizes free radicals with great efficiency. Carotenoids are plant pigments, about sixty of which are well known, including lutein, lycopene, and beta-carotene. Only beta-carotene is a precursor of vitamin A.
